BatRon

BATRON (Battleship Squadron), also Batron or BatRon

In naval use of the Third Imperium a Battleship Squadron is typically two to eight battleships (100,000 to 1 million dtons each) plus escorts and auxiliaries (usually less than 25% of capital ship tonnage).

The usual size of the BATRON seen in source material is eight battleships. In the early 1100s the source material indicates that the largest size typical Battleship Squadrons were the Tigeress Class at 500,000 dtons, although some older larger battleships did remain in service.
