The Avian class Far Trader is a civilian Free Trader.
Description
Using the Type 200 Delta Research hull, this far trader is equipped with ten staterooms (four for the crew:: pilot, engineer, medic, and steward; six for high and middle passengers) and twenty low passage berths. The forward swept stub wings coupled with the streamlined hull provide atmospheric maneuvering capability allowing "high speed glider" landing approaches on most worlds.
Hardpoints for double turrets installation are provided with dorsal and chin mounts. Modification of hard points to support triple turrets feasible.
