The system hosts a population between 100 thousand and 1 million. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Usani Subsector of Deneb Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Avernus, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of an Imperial knight and a baronet, and the fiefdom of a baron. All three are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world.

History & Background (Dossier)

A mysterious world that was first inhabited by Ziru Sirka colonists around -2200, now long since vanished. The Vilani constructed several bizarre graveyards on a plateau located on the world's northern continent, consisting of ornate but empty mausoleums. The only passable land trail up the slope to the site passes through a bizarre, tunnel like building, which is guarded by the "Burning Man" a bias relief figure, vaguely human and set in a crucifixion pose, surrounding by a billowing red robe or flames.
