An Auto-angel is a bio-electronic sex toy, produced in various backyard genetics factories around the Third Imperium and beyond.
Description (Specifications)
The auto-angel consists of a vat-cloned, genetically refined human body with no cerebrum and a small CPU wet-wired to the brainstem. A reader is implanted in the scalp, which enables the operator to load various software. When purchased, the auto-angel is enclosed in a portable cryo-support vat, somewhat like a medivat. The vat can be used to transport the auto-angel after purchase.
Auto-angels cost up to Cr1,000,000 and appear at TL–10.
History & Background (Dossier)
Possession or distribution of auto-angel software can be punished by a fine of Cr10,000 and 2 years imprisonment. Possession of an auto-angel can net the possessor 5 years in an Imperium Penal Settlement. Auto-angel manufacture or distribution can be punished with 20 years imprisonment in an Outer Penal Work Camp.
