The Asia class Scout is armed scouting starship. While the mission profile of this design is similar to the Imperial Type S, it does not meet the specifications of the Type S.
Description
Asia class Scouts serve with the navy of the Daprolix Juncture of Suns, a polity lying to rimward of the Solomani Confederation. They are charged with border patrols and scouting and undertake search and rescue missions. The class are also used as light escorts.
- It carries light armament and a defensive suite.
- It has a crew of 7.

History & Background (Dossier)
Asia class Scouts serve with the navy of the Daprolix Juncture of Suns. The vessels are domestically produced apart from their Jump Drive units, which are purchased from the Malorn Union. They operate from Scout Bases located on Asia (Malorn 3126 C746445-6) and Darious (Malorn 3125).
