- Remarks: At one time, early in her life, "Gold Bug" was a stock built Arzhent class Prospecting ship, of which few examples were produced, before their home shipyard went out of business. Since then, the ship had been modified and altered by many tinkerer/owners in an effort to improve the sensor suite and performance. At this point, more than 70 years since her keel had been laid down, she was a unique design, all but unrecognizable to her original designer. She was also now very good at finding rare and elusive minerals.
