The Antares Sector (Imperial Coordinates 1/1) is located Coreward of Fornast Sector and Trailing of Lishun Sector.
- The sector is named after the star Antares, a class M supergiant that is one of the most luminous stars in the galaxy and is the largest in Charted Space.
- Another notable astrographic feature is the Antares Main, a grouping of systems within the sector forming a chain of worlds all reachable by jump-1.

Antares Sector was originally designed by Marc W. Miller and appears in the Classic Traveller Atlas of the Imperium (GDW, 1984).
