Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard. |
The Angbar class Light Fighter is a combatant smallcraft.
- It is a military ship and a Fighter.
- It is a TL-11 design.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Angbar class is a small, dual-placed, streamlined cone-shaped fighter, euphemistically referred to as a heavy fighter. It is ill-suited to dogfighting and close combat and is usually used in a ground attack role instead.
Image Repository[edit]
- A fictional chit in the style of Fifth Frontier War representing a squadron of Angbar class Heavy Fighters. The color of the counter indicates its allegiance to the Sword Worlds Confederation.
General Description & Deck Plans[edit]
Armed with a pair of independently targetable Plasma Guns, the ship has no armor nor agility. The model/2 computer was selected because it doesn't draw excessive power from the energy-hungry weapons.
Basic Ship Characteristics[edit]
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) when necessary. [1]
