System Data

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

Mainworld Data

The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.

  • It lies within the zones prime H region.
  • It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.

Mainworld Size (S)

Amujan is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Amujan has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Amujan has 75-85% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few large continents and extensive islands. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Satellites:

Amujan retains three small vacuum moons.

  • The worlds orbit once every few weeks.

Mainworld Geography and Topography

No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.

  • Locally, detailed maps may be available.
  • Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
  • Detailed survey data commands premium prices.

History & Background (Dossier)

Comp-Prog-Dav-R-Deitrick-Starter-Trav-Page-16 16-July-2018a.jpg

Amujan is a quiet backwater with a stable economy and comfortable standards of living.

  • The resources of the system are gradually being exploited.

It is the homeworld of the Amujati.

  • They are large psionic semi-aquatic serpentine carnivore pouncers with bizarre spiritual beliefs.
  • First contact occurred millennia ago.

The constant ongoing wars between nation-states and conflicts with nomadic groups causes the world to be rated as an Amber Zone.

A number of businesses, organizations, and private interests are active within the system.

  • Commercial traffic is relatively infrequent: ships only occasionally visit.
  • Commo generally only picks up natural background noise and static.
  • A single commercial navigation beacon may be active.
  • Vessels are unlikely be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.

Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.

  • Verified updated data is constantly sought.

World Starport (St)

Amujan has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.

World Demographics (P)
