Alexandria class Free Trader/meta

This is a rebuild of the Beowulf class Free Trader (a Book 2 design) using the CT High Guard rules. The Adventure Class Ships book 2 has the deck plans and a slightly ship layout.

Using a 200-ton hull, the TL-12 Alexandria-class free trader is an elementary interstellar merchant ship plying the space lanes carrying cargo and passengers. It has Jump-1 and Maneuver-1 performance. It has fuel scoops and intakes, allowing the ship to refuel by skimming a gas giant, or by gathering water from a planetary surface. A Model/1 computer is installed adjacent to the bridge. There are two hardpoints, with no installed weapons. The associated two tons of turret space is normally used as extra storage, and is not included in the cargo capacity. The ship is streamlined, and has landing skids for landing on a flat stable surface.

The Alexandria has crew accommodations for a pilot/astrogator, engineer, medic, and steward. The bridge has two control and two operating consoles. The engineering section has one console, and the clinic has one as well.

There are six staterooms for high or medium passengers, and 20 low berths. Two gunners may be accommodated by displacing passengers, and installing the appropriate weapons. Cargo capacity is 82 tons, as well as a single mail vault.

There are no ships vehicles.
