Alderamin (star)

The star Alderamin (otherwise known as Alpha Cephei) is a blue-white A7 V main sequence star located approximately 15pc from Terra.

Description (Specifications)

Alderamin will eventually become Terra's Northern Pole Star around Imperial Year 2300 (6800AD) after succeeding Iota Cephei, the Terran Northern Pole Star since the creation of the Solomani Autonomous Region in the 700's (~ 5200AD).

The Alderamin star system is approximately 15pc from Terra, and is located in a Spinward/Corespinward direction from Terra at bearing 101.0^o Galactic Longitude and +09.17^o North] Galactic Latitude.

Alderamin is the primary star of the beltworld Stralsund/Alderamin (Solomani Rim 0618).
