Albadawi, subsector I of the Solomani Rim, was originally named Apishlun (Anglic: Apishlun). Its current name honors Terran Confederation Grand Admiral Manuel Albadawi. During the Eighth Interstellar War, Albadawi took advantage of Vilani confusion, soon after their loss of Dingir to the Confederation, to seize and fortify Oudh (then called Enulsur) and isolate the subsector from the rest of the Vilani Empire. Leaving part of his fleet to defend Enulsur, he took the remainder to reduce, in turn, Gaea, Tonopah, and Duriim. The Treaty of Enulsur (which ended the war) ceded all of the First Imperium rimward of Vega to the Terrans.

Albadawi subsector suffered greatly during the recent Solomani Rim War. Although much of the fighting took place elsewhere, the subsector's resources were heavily drained in support of the Solomani war effort. Since the war, Imperial aid to recovery has been meager and slow in coming, which explains why Solomani sympathy remains strong on many of the subsector's worlds.

This article has a world list.

Description

The Albadawi Subsector is defended by 221st Fleet.

Albadawi, subsector I of Solomani Rim contains 27 worlds with an estimated population of 175 billion, a per capita income of Cr7,987, and a total economy is BCr1,397,886. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr24,560 through 26 starports (16 Class A, 7 Class B, 3 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 3,647,380 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and three Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Albadawi maintain six Naval bases, one Military base, and one Scout base. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 9 and 14). The highest technology level is 14 at Jarslav (Solomani Rim 0123), Eneldun (Solomani Rim 0326), Basse Terre (Solomani Rim 0527), Kidashi (Solomani Rim 0528), Gaea (Solomani Rim 0722), and Edaazun (Solomani Rim 0729).

Albadawi, subsector I of Solomani Rim contains 44 stars and 300 identified planets; ten monostellar systems, 17 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 22 of the 27 systems (81%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, one Desert (De) world, three Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, four Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Albadawi has an estimated population of 175 billion distributed across 12 High population (Hi) worlds, five Moderate population (Ph) worlds, four Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Kidashi (Solomani Rim 0528), Tonopah (Solomani Rim 0723), and Duriim (Solomani Rim 0825). The population consists of 3 sophont groups.

Third Imperium

The Third Imperium has jurisdiction over 25 worlds with an estimated population of 163 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,127, and a total economy is BCr1,324,754. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, four Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Third Imperium maintain five Naval bases, and one Scout base. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 8 and 14). Solomani Confederation

The Solomani Confederation has jurisdiction over two worlds with an estimated population of 12 billion, a per capita income of Cr6,094, and a total economy is BCr73,132. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr685 through 2 starports (2 Class A, 0 Class B, 0 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 96,230 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Solomani Confederation maintain one Naval base, and one Military base.

The Solomani Confederation has an estimated population of 12 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, no Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, no Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Alizarin (Solomani Rim 0230) and Krypton (Solomani Rim 0330). The population consists of 1 sophont groups.
