Description (Specifications)
The rank of Air Marshal (O8) is a commissioned officer rank in the Imperial Army COACC. It is the highest of the Air Officer Ranks (The equivalent of General Officer Ranks in other arms). An Air Marshal will typically be in command of coordinating all the close air-support and air defence assets for an Army Group sized unit, and that these units will typically be of Division equivalent in number. Sub-grades of this rank can include Air Vice-Marshal, Air Marshal, and Air Chief-Marshal when warranted by the size of the Air units commanded.
The equivalent rank in the Imperial Navy is Fleet Admiral.
The equivalent rank in the Imperial Marines is Subsector Marshal.
The equivalent rank in the Imperial Army GFC is Major General.
