Aerragvull is a nonindustrial world, that requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.

  • In a technological universe, societies without industrial capability generally suffer as nearly all manufactured and high tech goods must be brought in at significant cost.
  • As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
  • It is a member of the Glory of Taarskoerzn in the Voudzeur Subsector of Provence Sector.
  • This world toils under the control of a military government with conditions reflecting that situation including curtailed civil rights and limited freedoms.
  • It is a member of the Dzarrgh Run.

System Data[edit]

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

Mainworld Data[edit]

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Aerragvull is a Meso World between 10,400km and 12,000km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.7G and 0.9G. The horizon will appear about 4.7km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Aerragvull has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Aerragvull has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.

Aerragvull is a member of the Dzarrgh Run, a small but important Main crossing between Tuglikki, Provence, Deneb, and Corridor Sectors.

  • High cargo capacity, low jump rating vessels move among its systems, carrying vast amounts of goods and commodities between its member worlds.

  • Worlds lying on the Run are highlighted in tan.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Aerragvull has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Population (P)[edit]

Aerragvull has a population of 10,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).

  • This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
  • The population entirely consists of Vargr.

Faith and Belief[edit]

Most of the population follow the Church of the Chosen Ones. Formerly, until around 900, the world had almost exclusively followed Taarskoism, worship of the ancient Vargr god Taarskoe.

  • The regional sect of the Church has declared Taarskoe to be a prophet of the faith and formally recognized his teachings, and in so doing has brought many followers of Taarskoism into its fold.
  • Many of the faithful carry a short, unadorned sword.
  • Some groups reject the Church of the Chosen Ones, continuing to follow pure Taarskoism.

World Technology Level (T)[edit]

Aerragvull possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government (G)[edit]

Aerragvull has a Captive Government or Colony. The world is ruled by an external government, there is no self-rule. A colony or conquered area. The local government is an oligarchy appointed by, and answerable only to, the external government.

World Law (L)[edit]

Aerragvull has a moderate level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. Personal concealable firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.

Trade Data[edit]

  • Importance: 1 (ordinary)

World Economy[edit]

  • Resources: A (abundant)
