== History & Background (Dossier) ==
Shipwrights and local naval architects were trying to make the best of the local {{TL|7}} resources. The design owes its fire power to three imported beam lasers, which were initially imported and then eventually license built under a lucrative trade contract between [[Kingdom of Peladon]] and a powerful weapons manufacturer. The Talbot/Bremen Mark 3 triple [[beam laser]] arrays are the products of a wholly owned megacorporation, subsidiary.
