Imperial cruiser squadron attached to the 61st Fleet. Employed watching out for Vargr incursions, this squadron is manned exclusively by Imperial Vargr. Incidents between the 49th and probing ships from the Dzarrgh Federate have created a particular rivalry between the two. The 49th is known for especially high morale and takes pride in the number in their ranks knighted into the Order of Gvadakoung.
