43rd Fleet

Numbered Imperial fleet stationed in Lunion Subsector. The 43rd consists of the 501st, 643rd, and 667th BatRons plus several other squadrons. Each of three BatRons are kept on standby on a rotating basis of four months apiece as the socalled Intervention Force, poised to intervene anywhere in the Border Worlds on 24 hour notice.

History

The 43rd was stationed elsewhere before the Fifth Frontier War and was sent to the Spinward Marches as reinforcements; it was stationed in Lunion in the post-war fleet shuffle.
