200th Fleet
Numbered Imperial fleet stationed in Sanches Subsector.
- Rebellion Sourcebook, p. 26.
Non Canon
An incredibly ancient and proud fleet with elaborate traditions. During the time of the Barracks Emperors this fleet was tested repeatedly, not by external enemies of the empire but rebel usurpers struggling to capture the throne. This experience left a lasting distaste for politics and the politically minded. Noble officers are not well liked. Those who rise through the ranks are more trusted and favored. Every command posting must be earned, no special favors for anyone regardless of noble rank. The members of this fleet swear loyalty only to the empire. Arbellatra gave her blessing for this custom after this fleet's admiral helped her stabilize the dynastic crisis in 618. The formation boasts twenty two massive squadrons. There are two squadrons at each of the subsector's eleven naval bases. The squadrons consist of the following forces:
- 1 TankRon
- 7 AssaultRons
- 7 CruRons
- 7 BatRons
- 8 ScoutRons
Each battle squadron has a special flagship assigned. This is an unusual design not often seen of the periphery of the empire. There are so many high population planets here, the hordes assault carriers are always filled to capacity with seven full imperial field armies. The troop strength alone could crush most enemies. The current admiral is unique, she boasts a squad of warrior nuns, a fanatical religious sect, sworn to protect her with their lives.

Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Duke of Sanches class Dreadnought is a very heavy warship.
- It is a military ship and a Dreadnought.
Description (Specifications)
In keeping with this fleet's internal security mission this class was designed with a defensive mindset. It carries two full battalions of rapid response jump troops, and a mechanized lift battalion of marines. There are twelve fighter squadrons, a squadron of scouts, and two squadrons of assault landers for dust off and recovery. The trade off is less strategic mobility, near the core a slightly shorter jump range is not considered a large disadvantage for primarily defensive vessels.
