The 1638th Imperial Marine Regiment was a Regiment sized unit of the Third Imperium and was part of the Imperial Marines.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
An Imperial Marine Regiment of fearsome reputation, ultimately based with 257th Fleet as it's reaction force. The Regiment fought both inside and outside the Imperium for may centuries. It survived the Denebian Bad War because it fought against the Humbolt family.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The 1638th Imperial Marine Regiment was ultimately deployed under 257th Fleet
The 1638th Imperial Marine Regiment was assigned to the Space Marines for defence of the Deneb Sector Depot in 1140 and thus passed out of the list of line regiments.
It was succeeded in the 257th Fleet by the 23rd Regency Marine Line Regiment.
