Built on Elemid/Tsorva (Halcyon 1619) D786977-6 for internal security and counter insurgency missions. They form the basis for the light scout companies. These are re-purposed two-door civilian vehicles. Available in colors like mellow yellow, they have traded in their civilian suspension for a ruggedized 4x4 wheeled off-road package, a much more powerful air-breathing internal combustion engine and four-wheel drive transmission. The A models are sealed and fitted with auxiliary water propulsion systems to facilitate amphibious operations. The prototype version had greater fuel capacity and range as a result. It was 665 liters of fuel for 5.32hours of endurance. These TL–6 vehicles are not envisioned to function as combat vehicles. They are not armed nor armored. Their steel chassis can't protect versus modern direct fire armor piercing munitions. They require some support infrastructure to keep them refueled for sustained operations. They are extremely inexpensive by modern military standards. They are delivered with no special equipment installed. All special gear must be carried by the passengers and crew in the generous cargo bay accessible through the rear cargo hatch.

1973-Model AMC Gremlin-A class Light Amphibious Scout Car, TL 6

The vehicle has a crew of one driver and can carry three passengers, one in the front seat and two in the back seat. The 4x4 wheeled suspension is rated for 4.93tons/m2. This leads to a good ground pressure that ensures they never get stuck off road. The vehicle is sealed but NOT pressurized and has no ability to thwart CBR/NBC threats or cope with any hostile environments. They have been made to float and function as amphibious vehicles. They typically operate in patrol companies of twelve vehicles with 48 crew with a command and support platoon.
