Idris is a very large moon of an extremely large rocky planet, Rockstar, which itself has a size rating of J with a surface gravity of 4.5g. Landing on Rockstar is not advised by craft with a maneuver drive less than M-5 for that reason. Most sophonts not adapted to high gravity will have extreme difficulties operating on such a planet.
Idris is more hospitable, with a surface gravity of 0.5g. Otherwise, it is a rock with a trace atmosphere; "For color" explain the residents.
