Colony world of the methane breathing SS'riarr. They attempted a major terraforming exercise on the planet which went dramatically wrong and permanently altered the atmosphere. The SS’riarr have responded by building sealed cities deep underground.

In 209 rutherfordium was detected in a deep lake on the planet. Before then, rutherfordium was though to be non-naturally-occuring by both the Imperium and the Solomani Confederation. As of 1105, "natural" rutherfordium has only been detected on one other planet: Rugbird (Spinward Marches 3102), in 567.
