Umri (World) Synopsis

Umri is a high-population world with a billion or more sophonts in population size.

It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Argi Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector in the Domain of Vland.
Colony world of the methane breathing SS'riarr.

The SS'riarr attempted a major terraforming exercise on the planet which went dramatically wrong.

In 209 rutherfordium was detected in a deep lake on the planet. Before then, rutherfordium was though to be non-naturally-occuring by both the Imperium and the Solomani Confederation.
As of 1105, "natural" rutherfordium has only been detected on one other planet: Rugbird (Spinward Marches 3102), in 567.
