The Trin's Veil subsector takes its name from the nighttime view on Trin -- a veil of highly reflective debris, the fragments of a shattered moon, which makes much of the evening and early morning on Trin a bright twilight. [1]

In 1139, Trin was attacked by a Vampire ship, the former Ziru Sirkaan battleship Kishkii, which destroyed much of the orbital facilities, then bombarded the surface for several hours before crashing itself into the surface. [2] In the aftermath of the attack, the subsector was renamed Trin's Shroud and the Subsector capital was moved to Katarulu.
