This award was first introduced in the T5 Core Rules. We don't have any other information than the fact of its existence, unfortunately. Perhaps ask Marc if he has an opinion as to its appearance?

Based on the illustrations in T5.10 - Book 1 and the T5 "TCards", it appears that the Exemplary Service Medals (called Exemplary Service Badges in the T5.10 text) may represent a general "class" of medal and ribbon awards and badges for Exemplary Service without respect to names of particular individual awards. They are depicted as being worn on an "Exemplary Service Cluster" in both products, which seem to be reminiscent of modern military "Ribbon Bars" for wear on non-full dress uniforms.

Per the T5 "TCard" for the Exemplary Service Award :

"In non-formal uniforms, medals may be included (in miniature) on the XS Cluster".

Note that in T5 CharGen, XS Badges seem to accrue to the Military Character automatically at a rate of about 1-2 per term (barring injury and award of a Wound Badge (in which case they receive no XS), or in some cases can receive up to 3 in a term if they have success at their risk roll, and receive another XS as a reward above and beyond the normal XS award for success on the reward roll).

• Fail @ Risk / Fail @ Reward: 0 XS
• Fail @ Risk / Succeed @ Reward: 1-2 XS
• Succeed @ Risk / Fail @ Reward: 1 XS
• Succeed @ Risk / Succeed @ Reward: 2-3 XS

Because of the pervasive nitpicking and the fact that I don't like my work being stolen (By mongoose, or other players),as the copyright owner, I am notifying the Wiki editors that all my artwork is to be removed and deleted from the Wiki as soon as possible. I have screenshotted the edit and page histories of everything I have worked on in the event there is another event of plagiarism and of IP Theft.
