• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
• It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Usher Subsector of Reft Sector in the Domain of Deneb.

Grudovo is a desert world with a temperate climate, located in the Berg Cluster.

Grudovo has two stars in the star system.

History & Background (Dossier)

Grudovo is largely unexplored except for orbital surveys, but is considered to hold high potential for exploitable mining deposits.

• The Grudovo authorities are struggling to police the small, illegal and unlicensed prospecting teams that have begun slipping onworld.
• Meanwhile the MegaCorporation Sternmetal Horizons, LIC has considered locating a mining settlement on the mainworld, a move fiercely opposed by the Grudovo government, out of concern the company will claim sovereignty over the entire planet.

Urbanization

The plains are dotted with small communities, mainly along the course of seasonal rivers. Most of these are either mining outposts or agricultural sites. The latter use water extracted from the subsoil to ensure a year-round supply even when the rivers have run dry. Farms are sealed off from the environment by high walls and glazed roofs.
