A Chondrichthoid is a creature that exhibits characteristics similar to certain species of Terran cartilaginous fish like sharks and rays.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

A chondrichthoid is distinguished by a number of characteristics:

  • The defining characteristic of Chondrichthyes, a classification of creatures from Terra is a cartilaginous internal skeleton.
  • They are aquatic swimmers and divers.
  • They they are generally carnivores, with a mouth full of sharp teeth.
  • The ray or manata body form move through water more like flying.
