A Chondrichthoid is a creature that exhibits characteristics similar to certain species of Terran cartilaginous fish like sharks and rays.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
A chondrichthoid is distinguished by a number of characteristics:
- The defining characteristic of Chondrichthyes, a classification of creatures from Terra is a cartilaginous internal skeleton.
- They are aquatic swimmers and divers.
- They they are generally carnivores, with a mouth full of sharp teeth.
- The ray or manata body form move through water more like flying.
