Mainworld Data[edit]
Typhon is a large world orbiting well-outside the life-zone of its primary star. As such, it is a frozen world with seas of liquid methane-ethane covering over half its surface.
Mainworld Geography & Topography[edit]
A single large continent rises above the seas with mountains of rock and hills of water-ice.

World Starport[edit]
Typhon has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Technology Level[edit]
Typhon possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land & Water: Grav belts and maturing gravcraft.
- Air: Greatly improved hybrid grav-aircraft.
- Space: Improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-1.
World Government[edit]
Typhon has no central government for the world, an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.
World Law Level[edit]
Typhon has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.

Trade Data[edit]

World Demographics[edit]
Humaniti 75%
Aslan 15%
Vargr 5%
Other? 5%?
World Culture[edit]
The population is overwhelmingly a scientific community, with each researcher totally absorbed by their own research. This world has no effective laws, and the scientists use that...flexibility...to do whatever research that they want and for which they have funding. Each is high intelligent, heavily armed, (as a rule) paranoid, and a significant percentage seem to have serious psychological problems and personality disorders.
Urbanization[edit]
The downport seems to function as a social center for some of the population. Otherwise, each individual or couple generally maintains their own lab complex within 100km of the downport, "commuting" with a airraft, scout-class craft, or even lab-craft.
