Tyeyo is the name given to the yellow-white primary star of the Kusyu (Kuzu) star system.
- Kusyu (Kuzu) is the homeworld of the Aslan race.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Tyeyo's white dwarf companion, Saietaie, orbits at a distance of 0.03AU. It was originally the more massive (and hence "bluer") of the two stars, but used up its core hydrogen faster than Tyeyo as a result, and hence entered the giant-branch as a red giant sooner. It lost about half of its mass toward the end of its helium-burning giant-phase as a planetary nebula when the outer layers of the giant star became gravitationally unbound as the giant continued to expand, leaving behind only the degenerate core.
