Twaro Evolution[edit]
The Twaro are in a phase of quick evolutionary change, though neither they nor their neighbors recognize it. The growth in size from their non-sentient ancestral forms is still happening, and would be visible in the records of explorers were the original records from Julian and Vargr explorers available. The average Twaro has nearly doubled in mass since the Julians first contacted them roughly two thousand years ago, and by roughly 3kg since the Claylannus surveys in the 900s. This is also difficult to observe in the fossil record since the parts of a Twaro that survive its passing resemble some 70% of the fossil remains of all life on the planet.
The growth is directly related to their brain mass and intelligence. The Twaro are not just getting more technologically adept with each passing century. They are also becoming more intelligent.
