Justan-Tubax System[edit]
The primary is Justan, an ordinary orange main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.352 Sols, a mass of 0.774 Sols, and a diameter of 1.168 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a vacuum worldlet and (II) a marginally habitable thin atmosphere world. (III) Tubax orbits in the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (IV) a vacuum iceworld, (V) a large gas giant, and (VI) an exotic atmosphere bigworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds in the system have satellites.

(III) Tubax[edit]
(III) Tubax is designated the mainworld and orbits primary at a mean distance of 0.65 AU (97.2 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 217 days 14 hours and a rotation period of 28 hours. The axial tilt is 26 degrees. Tubax has a diameter of 10,053 km, a density of 5.06 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.72 G. Its atmosphere is rated as Thin, with a mean surface pressure of 0.63 bar and a composition of 76% nitrogen, 23% oxygen, and 1% argon, carbon dioxide, neon and other trace gases. Approximately 33% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.25m. Mean surface temperature: -2°C. The atmosphere is dynamic and active weather systems, driven by the star and the seas, roll across the globe. The climate is seasonal and weather patterns follow regular cycles during the local year.

Native lifeforms[edit]
Tubax has extensive though primitive native life, largely confined to the seas and primarily microscopic in nature – the largest organisms are worm-like creatures measuring a few millimeters in length. A variety of flora similar to lichens, molds and fungi have colonised areas of land close to sources of water. The metabolic functions of the various native organisms drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
