Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Torrel class Destroyer is a light warship.
- It is a military ship and a Destroyer.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
A locally financed imperial design for fleet deployment with the 269th Fleet. It has the jump 5 range and 5 G acceleration to keep pace with imperial fleets. It is not very nimble and has just enough armor to protect critical systems, very strong shielding for a ship of its size, and a diverse weapons array, sort of a variety pack approach. A capable escort and light combatant, it is not intended to contend with capital ships. With no spinal mounted weapons it can not seriously wound the larger classes of warships.
