Thisuel has an unbreathably thin atmosphere and very little surface water. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. It is a member of Julian Protectorate in the Nisaga Subsector of Empty Quarter Sector and in the Hegemony of Lorean. This world hosts a Military Base for support of military ground forces.

History and Background[edit]

Formerly a scientific research outpost of Zuerouk (Empty Quarter 3112), the colonists of Thisuel proclaimed their independence around 973. The local Star Legion base is dedicated primarily to the support of courier and exploration services within the Hegemony of Lorean. Ultimately, however, Thisuel’s greatest claim to fame is the presence of a field of stone monoliths over fifty meters in height, whose origins and purpose are unknown. The Monoliths of Thisuel were discovered with the first exploration of the world’s surface, and scientists have determined that the Monoliths were created from stone not native to Thisuel. These strange structures are over forty thousand years old and barren of any tool marks or inscriptions.
