Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Shauug class Light Battle Rider is a warship.
- It is a military ship and a Light Battle Rider.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
These are a heavier alternative to the smaller 19,000ton Cleon Class Battle Riders. This design is optimized to be as small as possible and still carry the heaviest firepower and maximum protection. They can absorb tremendous hits and destroy enemy ships of the line. Retreat, however is not a viable option. This design carries several redundant systems to compensate for battle damage including: a model 9 fib computer, factor 9 nuclear damper and a factor 9 meson screen. Streamlined and heavily armored this design can scoop and refine fuel for its Uurogin class Fleet Tender. It can carry four cutters.
Basic Ship Characteristics[edit]
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
