Rulin, Pax (9-98): Captain of the Scout survey ship Giirkha Girgi, one of the four ships belonging to the first survey expedition to explore the Spinward Marches.
Description (Biography)[edit]
His ship explored the 4th Quadrant from 52 to 56 and returned for a follow-up expedition from late 56 to 60. In 81 Rulin was appointed commander of the newly established Scout base on Mora. For 14 years he directed all Scout activity in the Marches, finally retiring in 95 at the age of 86.
Among the many things named after him is the Pax Rulin Scout Base.
