World Starport[edit]

Purdee has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Technology Level[edit]

Purdee possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government[edit]

Purdee has no central government or substantial government apparatus; an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.

Historical Data[edit]

This planet was named due to a miscommunication between a planetary resident and a Solomani scout crew who were in a rush to finish their assignment. When the scout asked what the planet was called, the native replied that he though the planet was pretty, which with his accent sounded like "Purdee" to the scout, who logged it as official without any supporting documentation. Much later, when the natives were informed what their planet was called by the Solomani, they were unconcerned and persist to this day to call it by its original name.
