A Primitive Craft is a kind of vehicle or technological device, intended to convey sophonts from one location to another. It is also often referred to as primitive transportation.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Primitive craft are the staple transportation of TL:1-3 sophont societies.

These come in various types:-

Nautical environments are dominated by boats and waterbourne ships, while ground environments are typically dominated by riding beasts and various kinds of carts and wagons. Some worlds are even given to flight with various kinds of balloons, ridable flyer creatures, or unpowered gliders. A few even figure out how to use very early technology ornithopters.
