Description (Astrography & Planetology)

The system is a binary, made up of two relatively distant stars. Each star has its own system of worlds.

• The two stars orbit a barycenter once every few years.
• The listed worlds are divided between the primary and the secondary.
• The worlds of each system follow near-Bodean orbits around their respective central star.

Nerosh is a satellite of a gas giant.

The mainworld and its gas giant primary orbit close to the inner edge of the primary stars habitable zone.

• Their orbital distance lies far inside of the stars jump shadow, requiring long manoeuver times to or from a safe jump distance.
• The gas giant is "puffy", hot and swollen due to the energy it receives from the star.

Mainworld Size (S)

Nerosh is a Small World between 4,000km and 5,600km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.24G and 0.34G. The horizon will appear about 3km away.

Nerosh has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Nerosh has 05-15% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are Hell Worlds or Poor Worlds depending on their atmosphere.
