Nehuitei

A caste of Scanian traders, established in 663 primarily to retain free lines of communication between then-interdicted Akiva and the many Scanian colonies spread throughout Dagudashaag. Nehuitei always wear long cloaks with hoods and are renowned as efficient traders. Nehuitei can be found throughout the Sector, where they use their training in reading body language to obtain the best deals possible.

Most Nehuitei are independent, though a few Nehuitei corporations still exist, Twin Lines Shipping and Omaat-Ba'Shahaam Trading House being probably the largest two.
