Mitchell (Di 2835) is a non-agricultural, pre-industrial vacuum world, which warrants hazardous environment precautions.

• Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
• It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
• Its economy and population are slowly growing and living conditions are expected to improve in the near future barring outside forces.
• This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
• It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Khulam Subsector of Diaspora Sector in the Domain of Sol.
• It is controlled by nearby Gresham (Diaspora 3138).

Mainworld Topography and Geography

Montezuma is almost a desert world; large parts of it are arid badlands. As a result, the few arable lands are well-settled, despite the modest size of the world's population.

There are three notable bodies of water:

• Alabaster Sea
• Great Rift Sea
• Tikhan Sea

Montezuma is a rich Imperial world located in Khulam Subsector of Diaspora.

Imperial High (Landed) Nobility

Mitchell (Di 2835), as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of two members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.

• It holds the estate of an Imperial knight.
• It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial marquis.

History-Era: Rebellion

During the Rebellion Montezuma was occupied and controlled by Solomani Confederation forces. The Confederation found it difficult to recruit local collaborators, despite Montezuma's strong Solomani roots. Anti-Solomani rebels continued to fight the occupation forces and sent covert hiring agents off-world to locate mercenary units.
