The planet and naval base were abandoned by 1136, but refugees from nearby Khouth Cluster and the neighbouring Vargr state (the United Followers of Augurgh) partially resettled the world.

History

Early History

Occasional Gvegh Vargr travellers visited the planet between -300 and -100 but it wasn't until shortly after -150 that Aekhu Vargr started settling the Subsector. Several transient or short term settlements occurred over this period. The planet was used in the Vargr Campaigns and Arleshanu was, in 420, part of a Vargr State controlled by Fel (Deneb 2904) and Aerfor (Deneb 3104).

Unlike much of the subsector, which was admitted to the Imperium in 400, Arleshanu had to wait until the First Frontier War (592) when it was annexed to allow the naval base to be created.

The planet was severely raided in 616 and Vargr effectively besieged the Naval Base until relieved by a locally raised ad-hoc navy under the Marquis of Million.

Abandonment

Arleshanu was officially depopulated in 1136 by 61st Fleet with the inhabitants being moved into the Regency. The Starport and Naval Base were slighted at this time by the Imperial Navy.
