Horizon Colony is a way station for transport ships among the Noble Holdings of the SGG Manubalista.

Description (Specifications)

The settlement G777386-7, consists of old, battered shipping containers replete with corporate logos and emblems. They have been indelicately re-purposed and combined with prefabricated modular buildings. There is a crude spaceport where ships can land and access unrefined fuel. The atmosphere and hydrosphere allows ships to recharge their life support, a precious commodity among the moons of gas giants. An Omicron Faction Forces' Marquis currently holds the colonial charter for this moon. Suspended silicates and abnormally high concentrations of noble gases cause the atmospheric taint. Most of the surface hydrosphere is frozen into a cryosphere. Deep liquid deposits of water are mysterious and unexplored. Several local scientists speculate that there could be chemosynthetic and non-photosynthetic life below the thick surface glaciers.

History & Background (Dossier)

In the Unofficial (world) system, these settlers seek to avoid notice. Mining harvesters wander the surface and bring the deposits back to a central crucible refinery station. A few close support VTOLs with automatic weapons and missiles patrol, on the look out for trouble.
