Description (Specifications)[edit]

"Kick Rat Kutter Uck". While the full K'kree name here is relatively easy for non-K'kree to pronounce, the name still gets shortened to "Kutterruk" in casual speech. This is also how the Hivers list the subsector on their charts.

The smaller K'kree communities here are xenophobic (unusually, even to other K'kree), but the administrative capital at Kruragh'r and the damp colony world of Meextingka, both on the major trade route, are positively giddy in their welcome of other K'kree, no matter their point of origin. This may be due to disquiet at having neighbours so unusually insular.

Independent worlds like Inengus and Bynav support billions of reasonably prosperous people, a combination of Krotan, Vilani Humans (often with ties to the Lishun Suugugki), Lithkind, and Hive Federation member races. Even Qrukewyr, a client of the Two Thousand Worlds, is rather friendly to offworlders and cosmopolitan; the K'kree maintain their patronage mainly as it is a useful place at which to sell their perfumes and other trade goods.
