Period of early Reginan history (from 119 to 168) known chiefly for its exuberant and unrestrained artworks. Freed from the constraint of the sober ecclesiastical rule of the Abbess, artists tended to go overboard in their choice of subject and treatment, and even the greatest admirer of the period will admit that some works were in poor taste. Other works, however, are still regarded as among the greatest achievements in the history of Regina.

The Church has a policy of tolerance towards Irreverent art, averring that the Church is strong enough to survive any amount of mockery, and that to take offense over such art is to give it a dignity that it does not deserve.
