The Iinen class Yacht is a converted yacht starship.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
This class has a partially streamlined close configuration hull fitted with advanced TL–14 1 G maneuver and Jump-1 drives and 42.0 ton fuel tanks. There is enough fuel for two jumps. The cargo bay can be modified for collapsible or dismountable fuel tanks to extend the ship's range. A model/1 ship computer is installed adjacent to the bridge. The scoops and purification permit gas giant wilderness refueling. There are two hardpoints with triple turrets installed. These ships are delivered with no weapons. The yacht carries a single 30 ton ship's boat as a service and interface vehicle. The boat can carry the 10 ton ATV. There is also a 4 ton Air Raft.
It carries a small crew of four with a pilot, navigator, engineer, and steward. It is equipped with six staterooms. Two are combined into the owner's suite, as the sole high passenger aboard. The lack of additional staterooms for retainers is cited as a limitation. The cargo bay is larger than expected on other classes of Yacht in service.
