Claimed by the Imperium in 420, the system grew with extreme speed and by the beginning of the Solomani period the system’s population was already approaching 1 billion, and the local manufacturing and shipyard industries were among the busiest in the sector. Under the Solomani, Huy Braseal was the subsector capital, a major naval base, and an important link in trade routes into the Old Expanses. During the Solomani Rim War the Imperial Navy conquered the system after an extended siege that badly damaged to the shipyard and other facilities, and destroyed several civilian habitats.
