History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Most of this world's population live in submerged cities dotted around the shallow seas.

The Zhodani consider this world and its neighbours of Eiao and Vaekfue to be "Zone of Concern Shtatfle"; the possibility of violent regime change threatening a jump-2 route into Consulate space is high.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Gvoguek has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Technology Level[edit]

World Government[edit]

The largest and most powerful state is the Association of Saktag. Despite its name, a holdover from the state's beginnings as an alliance of independent cities, Saktag is now a dictatorship. With 10% of the world's population it has become wealthy from interstellar trade and its dictator believes that she could conceivably annex the other nations one by one.

World Military[edit]

Most of the Saktag forces are equipped to TL-9 standards; the other states have similar weaponry but are set up for internal security, not warfighting. Several independent states, fearing Saktag's ambitions, have hired raiders to attack Saktag shipping.
