Subsector K of Gzirr!k'l Sector.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

"Gin K Urrschk Schujoojii". As a K'kree border subsector, the common !Kee name here is difficult for non-K'kree to pronounce at all, much less to K'kree satisfaction. The Raxkiir pidgin rendering of this name, leaving out most of the glottal gymnastics, is "Gunner Kooji". The other significant inhabitants here, the Krotan, have a largely incomprehensible spoken language, so the Hiver charts use either the full Raxkiir or shorten it to "Kooji", much to the annoyance of the K'kree who find out about it.

Three of the Krotan systems have interdicted mainworlds; two of these are uninhabited, while a small population exists on the third, Gicung, at TL-4. Most of the other Krotan systems are linked by a strong trade and patrol route requiring a jump-4 vessel to cross from Tegangus to Ybrofos, where Uzepwot and Bjejox can also be accessed. Vessels incapable of this can follow an alternate, but less secure route using jump-2, through Cruhados and uninhabited Kragrenk. Piracy, including from the Ileet of Zikarah, is a problem along this route; the official, navy-patrolled route is far safer.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Gn'rr!k!ghooghii, subsector K of Gzirr!k'l contains 35 worlds with an estimated population of 162 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,071, and a total economy is BCr659,597. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr95 through 22 starports (4 Class A, 3 Class B, 11 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 15,750 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Gn'rr!k!ghooghii maintain four Naval bases, and one Naval outpost. The average technology level is 6 (with most between 2 and 10). The highest technology level is 13 at Ybrofos (Gzirr!k'l 2026) and Uzepwot (Gzirr!k'l 2225).

Gn'rr!k!ghooghii, subsector K of Gzirr!k'l contains 55 stars and 415 identified planets; 18 monostellar systems, 14 binary systems, three trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 29 of the 35 systems (82%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, three Desert (De) worlds, three Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, five Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Gn'rr!k!ghooghii has an estimated population of 162 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, three Moderate population (Ph) worlds, eight Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, ten Low population (Lo) worlds, and six Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Bj'jiked (Gzirr!k'l 2230) and Qyrebia (Gzirr!k'l 2425). The population consists of 3 sophont groups.

Two Thousand Worlds[edit]

The Two Thousand Worlds has jurisdiction over six worlds with an estimated population of less than 1 million, a per capita income of Cr0, and a total economy is BCr0. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr0 through 4 starports (0 Class A, 1 Class B, 2 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 30 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds.
