Description (Specifications)[edit]
Built for the Dysprosuk, the Gimel Class Battle Rider is a streamlined needle/wedge hull structure fitted with fuel scoops for ocean refueling. and a fuel purification plant. The hull has some armor and the vessel is capable of 6 Gs of acceleration, but has limited agility. It carries light meson screens and a nuclear damper system. A platoon of 28 marines is carried with drop capsules.

General Description & Deck Plans[edit]

- Hardpoints: One spinal mount. (16) 100-ton bays. forty hardpoints.
- Armament: Spinal mount meson gun (factor-K). One 100-ton particle accelerator bay. Fourteen 100 ton missile bays. Ten dual fusion gun turrets firing as one battery. Twenty triple beam laser turrets firing as two batteries.
- Defences: One 100-ton repulsor bay. Ten triple sand casters firing as one battery. Meson screen (factor-1). Nuclear Damper (factor-1). Armored hull (factor-6).
- Craft: 2 x 30 ton Ship's Boats, 18 x 10 ton fighters organized into two squadrons.
- Fuel Treatment: fuel scoops
