History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Ellee was a victim of the Gashikan Race Wars in that Vargr Corsairs slipped through the border patrols in Jump-2 raiders and sacked the Poor, thirsty world. There, the Vargr encountered the Yilean Mind Enclave, a remote Psionic Institute staffed by the Yileans. Both sides surprised, a day-long battle occurred in which the Corsairs slaughtered the Human psions and acolytes with teeth, claw and weaponry brought to bear. The psions returned fire with every discipline they could muster which drove the “space wolves” into a killing frenzy. The Vargr looted the enclave and made off with much psionic lore and many valuable texts. Then the Corsairs sold their finds after returning to Vargr space immediately to spinward. The destroyed C-Downport and Startown were found later by forces of the Second Empire of Gashikan; the use of psionics was investigated, and many oaths against the raiding Vargr were sworn.
The looted texts and psionic materials were much later the basis for the groundbreaking of the Lodaeegzzuen Collegia of Psionics on Lodaeegzzuen (Gzaekfueg 2536), across the border in what later became the Ruler of Five confederation.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Ellee has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
